Medicine and architecture: a blueprint
A couple sits before us, yearning to start a family. We listen and question, search for reasons, and make plans. We sit before a couple who dream of their family’s home. We question and listen, strive to understand their needs and imaginings, and make plans. We work in a team with other doctors, scientists, technicians, nurses, and staff in using intricate technologies in solving problems to make a baby possible. We work in a team with other designers, engineers, manufacturers, code and standard authorities, contractors, craftsmen and many others to build a graceful and inspiring structure.
