Farber et al. (1) should be congratulated for performing a large retrospective study to assess predictors and timing of patency as well as late failures after vasovasostomy (VV). To date, there is a paucity of data on patency and failure rates after VV, and a major challenge has been the heterogeneity in the definition of “patency” and “failure” among the few reported studies. In a span of 34 years (1984–2018), a total of 428 patients were included in the analysis, with a mean follow-up time of 12.4 months.
