Women’s health providers’ perspectives on preimplantation genetic testing
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) is a commonly used procedure to screen for genetic abnormalities in an embryo prior to transfer. Patients with medical indications for PGT may be identified and counseled by OB/GYN providers, gynecologic oncologists, or infertility specialists. The attitudes of women’s health providers among these specialties regarding PGT has not been well characterized.
